A/W 2022

The practice and principal behind this collection is texture! Nothing effects a knitwear design as much as texture. With nearly endless combinations of fibers, yarns, and stitches you can practically have a piece of knitwear for every mood and the personality of each piece is defined by it’s texture and feel! Texture is also what I am first drawn to and have the most fun experimenting with when designing new pieces… Classic designs with simple shapes can be made into so many things with the change of a stitch, the gauge of the knit, the fiber, or even how the yarn is spun. So, whether you feel like a sumptuous bulky moss stitch sweater for a chilly day, a soft & smooth sweater for comfort, a thinner wool & mohair blend sweater for a nice dinner, or the cloud like feel of a brushed Italian cashmere shawl to keep you warm, there is always a cozy knitwear option. After all, being cozy and warm is the ultimate goal of my designs. Texture is the reason we are drawn to certain sweaters and I think it is what makes knitwear design so fun and interesting.
